A talented recreational rock climber, Sharon has won the local indoor amateur climbing competition twice. She graduated from the University of Manitoba, Canada in 2003. Sharon has traveled to Central America, the west coast of the United States, and across Canada. Her climbing exposure includes Joshua Tree, Banff Canada, Krabi and Malaysia. Over the past three years, she has freelanced as a climbing guide and instructor in Canada and Malaysia. She has also lead as a technical marshal in many adventure races. She is qualified in Basic First Aid and CPR by the American Red Cross and certified by the Australian Canoe Federation in Whitewater Safety & Rescue. Her appreciation of quality outdoor equipment is reflected in her personal collection of gear from her many internet shopping expeditions. She holds a wealth of knowledge that should be shared with all CORE Friends. |
